M&a – APAC’s Integrated Marketing Agency Talks Plans For 2016

Like many companies, an offer to “join the family”, is very rarely literal. So when we met with Operations Manager Melanie Shaw, and Senior Account Manager Bronwyn Cook of McCorkell & Associates, we were surprised to hear that the company is indeed a family owned agency, which has been around for the last 24 years.

As a fully integrated marketing agency, M&a offers strategic marketing, creative, branding, advertising, event, digital, contact centre, content and marketing technology services to a whole host of clients throughout Australia, Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.

As a ‘pedigree’ brand, as we like to call them; one with history, a good track record and top of class services, the agency has helped develop start-ups into successful businesses, introduced multinationals into new markets, and opened up entirely new categories for some of the world’s leading blue chip brands.

M&a’s impressive portfolio of clients includes VMware, Lexus Australia, Vodafone Global Enterprise, AIG Direct, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, AMEX, SugarCRM, Zebra Technologies, NVIDIA, LinkedIn, Fuji Xerox, and Commscope.

In the marketing technology team, M&a has a number of developers and technology consultants who support the business as one of Australia’s leading Marketo certified partners, and Oracle Marketing Cloud’s partner of choice.

Testament to their past and ongoing success, the agency has experienced 350% growth in recent years and is highly regarded in the B2B marketing industry as a ‘one stop shop’.

Of the company’s future growth plans, Bronwyn Cook says that in 2016, M&a will be focused on leading the discussion around Modern Marketing and educating the marketplace on their “Omni-Channel vision.”

She says, “To us, this means assisting our customers to ensure that they are customer centric and facilitating the discussion and working relationship between the CEO and CMO.

We have developed a Modern Marketing Index to help companies gauge where they are on the journey to customer centricity and help identify immediate areas for improvement.”

Bronwyn adds “Digital is no longer regarded as a separate discipline, it is the essential backbone of any modern marketing program. Ensuring that all of your channels are integrated – across marketing technology, adtech, contact centre, events – basically any customer touch point – is crucial to success.”

A big part of the agency’s growth trajectory will rely on building out the tech team in both Sydney and Singapore, with experts in Marketo and Eloqua systems.

Bronwyn says of the current tech team onsite in Sydney, “The variety of projects the team is working on is incredible – one client alone has executed 30 campaigns in just under 6 months.”
