Campaign Manager (Digital Marketing)

Kalido Sydney are currently looking for 2 Campaign Managers to work with one of Australia's leading financial institutions. These Campaign Managers will be responsible for initiating, creating, directing and deploying major digital communication initiatives at scale.

The Campaign Managers will be working as part of an agile team to manage digital marketing campaigns across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, social and other digital platforms. This agile team of professionals will work together to help elevate and grow digital marketing expertise, customer experience and champion digital marketing innovation across the financial services sector.


Working closely with the client Marketing team members, as well as key internal resources and external partners, the Campaign Managers are responsible for delivering high impact campaigns, on-time and with flawless execution. Using insights and customer intelligence, the Campaign Managers will execute end-to-end (plan, test, execute, measure and refine) programs and deliver remarkable results. The roles require candidates that are comfortable driving strategic campaign development as well as managing tactical day-to-day campaign deliverables.



  • Brilliance in Execution: Manage campaign execution across digital channels
  • Leverage datasets to identify opportunities to improve performance, reach, and return on investment of digital marketing activities
  • Own all aspects of trafficking, optimisation, and troubleshooting with a sustained focus on efficiency and scalability
  • Design and implement test plans (A/B and multivariate) to understand drivers of response and value
  • Strive for operational excellence
  • Alignment with the Experience Director on all segment, content and experience enhancement initiatives
  • Master of Collaboration: Drive best practice and be seen as a SFMC product expert
  • Report campaign results regularly and provide recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Creative, Content, Marketing, and Brand teams to create digital strategies
  • Champion the optimisation of campaign opportunities by using data and insights
  • Develop metrics and track integrated campaign effectiveness by utilising standard reporting and system audits and then design and report on program outcomes/ progress to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively collaborate with cross functional partners Planning, Strategy, and Measurement: Translate business objectives into campaign strategy, proposing campaign structures and implementing measurement solution (derive actionable insights)
  • Manage planning, execution, ongoing reporting and optimisation of campaigns (oversee budget spend, manage internal analytics and dashboards, provide optimisation and real time targeting recommendations)
  • Oversee quality control and ensure approvals are obtained on all appropriate activities
  • Prepare and disseminate regular summary reporting for senior management
  • Provide training to clients on using campaign platforms


About You


Our ideal candidate will possess the following experience and attributes:

  • 5+ years of direct digital marketing experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience using Exact Target / Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience working with SQL
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to act independently
  • Highly innovative, entrepreneurial and collaborative
  • Highly organised and process motivated
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under time pressure while maintaining strict attention to detail
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Marketing
  • Understanding of success metrics
  • Experience planning, delivering, and executing, measurement, and creative strategy
  • Experience presenting to stakeholders at a variety of levels
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience completing projects with minimal direction with high attention to detail
  • Experience providing insights and campaign optimisations/recommendations
  • Able to extract insights and customer data independently using Excel and other tools
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated experience analysing data sets and delivering actionable insights
